梁鸿健(笔名:梁鸿 H. Leung)
梁鸿健先生祖籍广州,出生于1933年5月14日,16岁时从广东移居香港,在香港自学绘画。1968年,梁鸿健先生在香港首次展出其油画作品,受到了艺术界的一致好评。1978年,携全家移居美国,经过多年努力,以及对艺术孜孜不倦的追求,成功成为优秀的美籍华人风景油画家,被英国名人录列入世界成功艺术家,并在上世纪90年代得到美国老布什总统的信函嘉许,他的个人画作在日本,加拿大,新加坡,香港和美国的纽约,三藩市,洛杉矶,夏威夷及拉斯维加斯等多个城市成功举办个人画展超过百多场。其原创作品,以及出版的油画限量作品深受世界各地藏家及艺术爱好者的欢迎,画作极具收藏价值。
梁鸿健先生的作品巧妙地将西方油画技法与中国山水的意蕴相结合,色彩明丽清新,作品充满灵气,生动而又抒情,鲜亮的色彩色调,会将人们带进一种颇有诗意的境地。梁鸿健先生绘画主题包括崇山峻岭,江南水乡,城市以及乡村风景。描绘山峦时,梁鸿健先生吸取了中国画中“计白当黑“的传统技法,通过大刀阔斧的留白手法,尽显气势磅礴的力量感,而在创作水乡作品时,则以见识,清新的笔调,在画中透出了秀丽,深得世界各地艺术收藏家的喜爱。
Born on May 14, 1933, in Canton, China, Ken H. Leung moved to Hong Kong in 1949 to become involved in the city's artistic community. Largely self-taught, his first oil paintings went on display at Konn’s Fine Art Gallery in Hong Kong in 1960. In 1967, he opened H. Leung Gallery at the Miramar Hotel in Hong Kong to hold solo exhibitions and later, showcasing Thomas Leung’s first works for the next nine years. In 1978, he became a resident of the United States and settled permanently in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and four sons, including artists Thomas and Richard Leung. Over the years, H. Leung exhibited his oil paintings in Hong Kong, Canada, Australia and the United States while receiving numerous honors and distinctions. His original works of art and limited reproduction editions won great popularity among art lovers around the world. He was elected a lifetime consulting member of the Asia Artist School in Hong Kong, made a member of the Asia Society of Art and also the Orient Art Institute.
Today, H. Leung is recognized as one of the premier neo-impressionist artists; widely considered a master of the enchanted landscape, dreamy moods, and magical reflections of light and color. His painting style, which is a combination of classical Chinese ink painting and western oil painting, is unique and rare to find in the fine art world. His works are currently exhibited at Lahaina Galleries in Hawaii and also at Leung Gallery in Shanghai, China.
